CELSA aims to strenghten scientific cooperation between members. It serves to exchange knowledge such as: science evaluation, knowledge and technology transfer, quality assessment, and more.
CELSA was approved at the CELSA Executive Council meeting in Ljubljana in September 2016. And a virtual fund has been set up to fund research projects. The projects are designed at least between two CELSA partners (one of them must be KU Leuven). Cooperation between partners has to lead to the subbmission of a joint collaborative project in the H 2020 or in a similar European program.
The Fund funds joint research projects with a maximum budget of € 120 000 (with two involved partners) for two years (i.e RUK contributes € 30 000, KU Leuven € 90 000). Every other partner increase this project budget by € 30 000. What will be financed from the budget is the decision of the project partners. In the case of buying research equipment, this equipment will remain at the institution that paid it.
!!! All running CELSA projects are automatically prolonged for one year.
