The workshop develops new cooperation between 4EU+ universities (Charles University and Heidelberg University) and in the next steps it assumes the involvement of two more (University of Milan and Sorbonne University). The workshop focus on a wide range of topics, the major ones include:
Theory and practice of unbiased (design-based) stereology as applied to biological tissue
Applications of machine learning, deep learning and artificial intelligence to biological tissue
Hands-on exercises for object number & density, region volume, feature length and object volume (load)
