Sector Skills Alliances ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** This activity is focused on solving skill gaps. It focused on initial and continuing profe education, on the preparation and needs of specific sectors in the labor market. Supported to the modernization of vocational education and training, to strengthening the exchange o and practical procedures between institutions and the labor market, to facilitating labor facilitating the recognition of qualifications at European level. Types of supported sectors for 2017: • Production and Engineering • Trade • Information and Communication Technologies • Environmental Technologies • Cultural and Creative Industries • Tourism Supported activities under this action: • Definition of skills and training needs in a specific economic sector • Draft of the common curriculum • Using of the common curricula in practice Role of consortium members: • Applicant: is a project coordinator, he/she submits a proposal, acts and signs the contr behalf of all the consortium partners, is the main beneficiary of the EU grant, he/she b and legal responsibility for the proper operational, administrative and financial implem project • Full-legal partners: are participating organizations that actively contribute to the ful sectoral skills alliance. Each partner signs a mandate to give the coordinator full auth negotiation of the project and the grant • Associate partners: are partners, who contributing to the alliance's activities. They ar to contractual requirements because they do not receive financial support A minimum of 3 program countries must be involved in the Sectoral Skills Alliance project. legal partners from the following areas (one representative from each area) must be cooper the involved countries: public or private VET providers, public or private bodies with spe expertise and public or private bodies with a regulatory function for education and traini local, regional or national level). The projects are funded for 2 or 3 years.
