RFCS ****************************************************************************************** * Research Fund for Coal and Steel ****************************************************************************************** The Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS) [ URL "http://ec.europa.eu/research/industrial rfcs_en.html"] was created by the transformation on the European Coal and Steel Community finished to exist in 2002 after 50 years of existence. The fund supports research projects and steel. The projects are focused on: production processes, use, utilization and corvens labor safety, enviromental protection and CO2 emissions from coal use and steel production The Coal and Steel Research Fund is a follow-up to the European Coal and Steel Community ( disappeared in 2002. The Contract about the European Coal and Steel Community was signed i entered into validity on July 25, 1952. In discussions preceding the expiration it showed and steel sector no longer plays such an economic and strategic role for peacekeeping. The is no need to renew the contract. The industrial sectors of coal and steel have been trans standard management, established by the Contract establishing the European Community. The European Coal and Steel Community were intended to support the RFCS research program (for coal and steel sectors). In 2000, financial rules and technical guidelines for future rese of the Research Fund for Coal and Steel were established.
